Concerns are held for a missing snorkeler in Port Stephens.
29-year-old Scott McGuire was last seen about 4pm on Sunday when he was snorkeling with a friend off Birubi Point at Anna Bay.
Police were notified after he failed to return to shore.
A search between Birubi Point and Boat Harbour yesterday failed to locate anything, and the search has resumed this morning.
Anyone with information relating to Mr McGuire’s disappearance, in particular any fishermen who were at Birubi Point on Sunday afternoon, are urged to come forward.
Mr McGuire is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm-185cm tall, of a slim build, and with shaved brown hair.
He was last seen wearing red board shorts, black flippers, black goggles with a clear snorkel, and carrying a small mesh bag.
