MOREE PLAINS SHIRE COUNCIL RAISE MORE THAN $9000 FOR WESPTAC CHOPPER

Staff at Moree Plains Shire Council have donated more than, $9,000 to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service this year.

Employees nominated to have funds taken from their wages through payroll each week, proving that every penny adds up.

“If you don’t actually have that tangible money in your account or in your hand you don’t really miss it, so it’s just a few dollars that they give a week and it’s just amazing and I think it’s a wonderful thing because like I said anytime, any where and the Westpac helicopter is there.”

Council says staff will continue the initiative, next year.
