CLUB EMPLOYEES ATTACKED AT CASINO

Five men armed with a machete and iron bars have held up two employees of a club at Casino.

The two employees were leaving the West Street club while locking up when they were confronted by the men.

They were threatened and forced back into the club, one of the victims was struck on the shoulder with the machete. Both were forced to the ground and kicked.

The five men fled the club empty handed, after noticing a security guard outside.

The man who was struck with the machete was treated for a minor injury.
