A man is in a serious condition in Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital,
after allegedly being attacked with a hammer.
The injuries were reportedy inflicted during a brawl in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Bolton Point.
The 47-year-old suffered several blows to his head and arms.
A second male, AGED 40, reportedly suffered stab wounds.
