An elderly woman has died after her car left the road and crashed into a tree on the Mid North Coast at around 4pm yesterday.
The 85-year-old was driving a Holden Barina on South Street in Tuncurry when the accident occurred.
She was treated at the scene but authorities say the woman died on the way to the Manning Base Hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is being asked to contact police.
