DRUGS AND WEAPONS SEIZED ON MID NORTH COAST
Three men have faced court today, accused of being involved in a large scale drug supply network based on the New South Wales Mid North Coast.
Investigations from Strike Force Wokari allegedly uncovered a significant drug network which included a number of organised crime groups.
Officers arrested three men aged 34, 41 and 45 yesterday, charging them with a number of offences.
Shortly after the arrests, detectives executed four search warrants at Bonny Hills, Wauchope and Port Macquarie.
Police say they seized 1kg of methylamphetamine, a .22 machine pistol, a sawn off shot gun, and a sum of cash amongst other items.
The 34-year-old man was charged with 13 offences relating to firearms, large scale drug supply and his alleged involvement in a criminal group.
The 41-year-old man will face four similar charges, while the 45-year-old man has been charged with six offences.
Investigations are continuing and further arrests are expected.
