OXLEY LAC NETS HIGHEST NUMBER OF GUNS DURING AMNESTY

The Oxley Local Area Command has netted the highest number of weapons and firearms in the state under the National Firearms Amnesty.

Official figures released this morning show more than 1300 items have been surrendered to police and dealers.

One person alone handing in more than 950 firearm barrels.
