WOMAN CHARGED OVER FATAL SHOOTING

A 27-year-old woman has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, following the shooting death of a man on the NSW far north coast earlier this year.

Police say 31-year-old Ace Hall was taken to Tweed Heads District Hospital on June 24, after suffering a gunshot wound.

He died a short time later.

The woman was arrested by Queensland Police on Monday, before being extradited to New South Wales and charged at Tweed Heads Police Station.

The woman will face court today.
