GAV’S WEATHER: GREAT RAIN FOR SOME BUT NOT FOR OTHERS
The much needed rain bearing system is clearing across the Tasman and Coral Sea’s tonight leaving behind a predominantly clear nation.
The rain produced some very healthy totals inland from Delungra to Tingha of up to 70mm. Widespread areas of the North West slopes received 3 to 50mm while place such as the Hunter received very little 1 t o 5mm.
A large high will take its place forcing the toughs to the north so the rain will spread to Queensland and the northern half of Western Australia.
Onshore winds will settle in along the east coast making for partly cloudy skies and a showery weekend.
Partly cloudy but fine for most. There will be a consistent run of showers and even rain periods for the far North East corner of New South Wales and South East Queensland. Moderate onshore winds variable inland.
