ROYLE MAKES HIS DEBUT IN SUPER LEAGUE TRIATHLON SERIES

The Hunter’s Aaron Royle says he enjoyed every minute of his first Super League Triathlon experience, despite battling torrential rain and chilly temperatures.
Held on the Channel Island of Jersey, the races consisted of a 300-metre swim, 5k ride and 2k run, with only the top 15 advancing after race one, and the top 10 from race two.
The 27-year-old made it all the way to the final, where he finished a respectable sixth.
Royle is now planning to return to Australia to prepare for the Noosa Triathlon on November 5.
