12 units at at Elermore Vale in Newcastle have been left damaged after a water main burst.
Residents in Aries Way heard the torrent of water at around 4 o’clock this morning and worked to try and salvage their belongings.

While Hunter water has been wonderful up to this point CHU the strata insurer should be ashamed of themselves. Owners are unable to take out building insurance on strata units, therefore not bring able to cover for emergency accommodation, and CHU won’t cover because son is a tenant, even though they can claim Back from Hunter Water.. virtually told to sleep on the street. Shame on you Adam and your unforgiving cohorts. Hope you don’t sleep at night.
