Remember the (Very Fast Train) VFT proposal – about 15 years ago. Short termism meant that it never got off the drawing board. If we had some decent forward thinking policitians, that rail system would be finished and we would be reaping the economic and social benefits now.
All talk and no action means this wont happen in my lifetime. We are still waiting for wifi on the trains from Gosford to Central – promised at the last election. If they cant arrange something as simple as wifi – good luck with a new train system.
