FENTANYL AND CASH STOLEN FROM MOREE PHARMACY

Prescription drugs and a sum of cash have been stolen from a pharmacy in the North-West of New South Wales.

A group of three men, one of whom was armed with a knife, entered the pharmacy on Amaroo Drive in Moree shortly before 2pm yesterday, and threatened the two female staff members.

The men, who were wearing masks, took a quantity of cash and Fentanyl patches from a safe before fleeing in a vehicle stolen from one of the staff.

The car was dumped nearby before the offenders escaped on foot.

Two of the males were wearing black pants and black jumpers, while the third male was wearing a black jumper and green camouflage pants.

Police have urged anyone with information about the robbery to come forward.
