MORE TO BE DONE TO PREVENT MINING DEATHS
A special service honouring fallen mineworkers has prompted the union to issue a passionate plea, for tougher safety regulations in the industry.
It came as another name was added to the memorial wall at Cessnock – that of 53-year-old Stephen Norman, who lost his life at the Rix’s Creek mine last December.
