SULLOHERN TURNS ATTENTION TO FERNLEIGH 15

She won the city to surf in impressive fashion, but former Newcastle runner Celia Sullohern won’t be pushing for a start at next year’s commonwealth Games – despite running a qualifying time.

The 25 year-old was back in town today to promote the Fernleigh 15.

Tomorrow marks 50 days until the event, and Sullohern will be taking part – for the first time since setting the course record in 2014.

Sullohern is eyeing off a potential start at the Melbourne Marathon in October.
