W-League Jet Gema Simon has helped her Norwegian club side, Avaldsnes, to a win over Montenegro’s Breznica in a European Champions League qualifier.
Fellow Aussie Emily Gielnik put Avaldsnes in front, and should’ve doubled the lead, but her penalty was saved.
Simon was solid in defence when she came on at halftime, before her team scored the decisive goal in the 75th minute.
