She’s 99-years of age, but Glad Dent from the Mater Hospital’s Cancer Carers Auxiliary is described as an absolute dynamo.
Glad was recently named Hunter New England Health’s Volunteer of the Year, for her inspiring work with patients, staff, visitors and other volunteers.
Today it was her time to shine, with a rendition of Happy Birthday, three cheers. Then it was back to the task at hand.
