15-YEAR-OLD GIRL ALLEGEDLY APPROACHED IN LISMORE

A man will front a Northern Rivers court after allegedly approaching a child yesterday morning.

Shortly before 8am, a 15-year-old girl was walking along Uralba Street in Lismore, when she was approached by a man in a Holden ute.

Police allege the man spoke to the girl, and asked her to get in the car.

The girl made a phone call and the man drove off.

Subsequent inquiries led to the arrest of a 47-year-old man, who was charged with intimidate with intent to cause fear of harm, and breach of bail.
