HUNDREDS OF FIREARMS SURRENDERED DURING AMNESTY

Hundreds of illegal firearms have been handed into to police stations across the Richmond Local Area command, since the gun amnesty began at the start of July.

They range from antiques down to replicas, but close to half will be sent to a specialist unit in Sydney, to be destroyed.
