A three day bush party in the state’s north-east has been shut down the day before it was due to start.
Police have sent a warning to organisers and festival goers that the event called ‘Life’, is illegal because it hasn’t been properly approved.
The three-day ‘doof party’ was expected to start tomorrow in the Tabulam/Bonalbo area, west of Casino.
Authorities are asking those who purchased tickets to contact their ticket provider for a refund.
Officers are due to be at the festival’s location from tomorrow to ensure the closure is enforced.
