WOMAN FOUND UNCONSCIOUS ON CENTRAL COAST ROAD

Witnesses are being sought after a woman was found unconscious and seriously injured on the Central Coast.

The woman, aged 54, was found at the intersection of Fairview and Copnor Avenues in The Entrance shortly after 2pm yesterday.

She was taken to Wyong Hospital with head injuries, but the woman remains unconscious.

It’s believed she may have been walking around the car park of a bottle shop with a small dog just before she was found unconscious, and at the time she was wearing pyjama pants with ‘Batman’ on them and ugg boots.

Police say she may have been living out of her car, a silver Saab, that was parked in the car park of the bottle shop.

Detectives also believe a customer of the bottle shop may have witnessed what happened, and possibly even have video footage.
