POLICE SEEK TWO MEN FOLLOWING GOLD COAST BURGLARY

CCTV vision has been released as part of a Gold Coast burglary investigation.

Police say just before 11:30pm yesterday, two men forced entry into a residential address in Highland Park.

One of the men was armed with a firearm.

During the burglary, a male resident was struck with a pair of bolt cutters, resulting in a severe laceration to his forearm that required hospital treatment.

One of the men then stole property, before both they both fled the address.

The first man is described as Caucasian, late 20’s, wearing gloves and a hoodie over his head.

The second man is described as Caucasian with a heavy build, grey wavy hair, aged in his 30’s, wearing a light coloured t-shirt and shorts.

One of the men was last seen wearing a motorcycle helmet.
