Tamworth’s late John Minson is being remembered for his contribution in promoting country music in the local region.
A scholarship has been set up in his name to fund a student through the Country Music Association of Australia Senior Academy.
The CMAA has been a platform for performers such as Amber Lawrence and Travis Collins.
Mr Minson had a strong focus on promoting new and emerging artists.
