SIX TEENAGERS CHARGED FOLLOWING ALLEGED GOLD COAST HOLD-UP
Six people have been charged following the alleged armed robbery of a Gold Coast service station early this morning.
Police say four people armed with knives and with their faces covered entered the business on Chambers Flat Road in Marsden just before 4am.
The group allegedly threatened a staff member, before fleeing in a stolen vehicle with cash and cigarettes.
No one was injured during the robbery.
A short time later police allegedly located the stolen vehicle at the rear of an Eliza Court address.
Two 17-year-old males and an 18-year-old man have been charged with one count each of armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Two boys, aged 14 and 15, and a 15-year-old girl, will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
