Assistance from the public is sought to locate a man that was involved in an incident that left a woman injured at a Newcastle cafe.
Police say the man went into a cafe on Orchardtown Road in New Lambton around 11:30am on Tuesday July 4, and became involved in a verbal altercation with another male customer.
The man pushed the other customer, causing him to step backwards and into another woman, with both falling to the ground.
The male customer was uninjured, but the woman, aged 76, sustained lacerations to her arms and bruising to her hip.
Police would now like to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
He is described as being aged in his mid 20s, Caucasian appearance, solid build with blond/ginger short hair with side burns.
At the time he was wearing long black pants, black shirt with a dark coloured hooded jacket and white runners.
