Police are investigating after a fire destroyed a house in the Hunter Valley.
Emergency services arrived to find the house on Singleton Avenue in Thornton well alight, just before 3am this morning.
A man, woman, and their two sons escaped the home
The two sons were taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation.
Crews extinguished the blaze, but the house was destroyed.
