The trough is still clearing from QLD which has been producing more rain, but it’s set to clear for the weekend.
The low will make its way across the south east, clearing into the Tasman, helping to maintain the westerly winds.
More natural snow will continue to fall on the Alpine regions of NSW and Victoria, making it the snowiest week of the season. That will continue across the weekend.
So we are in for cold, clears nights with widespread inland morning frosts.
There will be plenty of sun with bright blue skies overhead.
