LIFE SUPPORT TURNED OFF FOR 21-YEAR-OLD CENTRAL COAST MAN

A man, who was found unconscious on a Central Coast road with severe head injuries, has died.

21-year-old Jayden Mason was found on Lake Haven Drive near Lyle Street in Lake Haven, around 10:30pm on Saturday.

Bystanders rendered assistance and he was treated at the scene by paramedics.

He was taken to John Hunter Hospital, but the man’s life support was switched off last night.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information about the incident to contact them.

In particular, they would like to speak to a woman who helped the injured man.

She is described as being in her 50s and was driving a dark blue Ford Falcon sedan, towing a box trailer.
