  1. Council needs to hear the voice of ratepayers and visitors. People want to be able to sit outside in a locality like Valla Beach.

  2. Oh please. First no dogs now no tables. Wake up Council. It’s so much healthier to get a bit of sunshine anyway. Love sitting outside

  3. A decision like this is another example of misguided rubbish. I thought councils supported building communities? Guess I was wrong.
I live in London and outdoor tables and chairs are everywhere to be seen and enjoyed.

  4. Why can’t people see the private agenda being served by council staff that live in macksville, all funding goes to macksville, chairs out the front of cafes, no problem in macksville, new shopping centre, private schools, all approved in macksville, where do our council representatives live, MACKSVILLE, this is about more than chairs, this about council staff protecting their assets and real estate prices being manipulated, nambucca, bowra and valla stay unserviced and run down, while Macksville get new jettys, turf, clean and kept streets, so in turn macksville get the real estate equity, and it’s working. There should be an investigation, its more than obvious what’s happening.
