A fish farm being trialled at Providence Bay will be ready for its initial harvest in the coming months.
Using world-first technology, more than 13,000 yellowtail kingfish have been bred in two sea-pens.
The trial aims to increase the state’s supply of seafood – currently 85 per cent comes from outside New South Wales.
