It took them a while to get their man, but the Newcastle Jets have finally secured the services of former Brisbane midfielder Dimitri Petratos for two years.
Dimi originally inked a deal with the Jets in January, but before that could happen, the Roar sold him to Korean side, Ulsan.
“I think that just happens in football and I didn’t have much time to decide what I wanted to do when the opportunity came withy Ulsan at the time I thought it was best for my family and myself and yeah”
He says he’s looking forward to playing under Ernie Merrick… and alongside his brother Kosta.
“It’s looking very positive and I just think in the end everyone just has to work hard and I’m going to work my hardest and take each game at a time”
