MAN TO FACE COURT AFTER ALLEGED GOLD COAST STABBING

A man has been hospitalised after a stabbing on the Gold Coast last night.

Police responded to reports of an incident at a unit on Arundel Street in Arundel, at around 11.45pm.

On arrival, they found a 26-year-old man with a stab wound to the back of his left shoulder.

He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

Police later charged a 27-year-old Arundel man with unlawful wounding, possessing a dangerous drug, and possessing a drug utensil.
