A man has been hospitalised, and another charged with grievous bodily harm, after an alleged assault on the Gold Coast.
At around 6pm yesterday, an altercation broke out between three men at a taxi rank on Casino Drive in Broadbeach.
A 38-year-old man sustained a serious injury to his ear, and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
A 35-year-old man from Shepparton was charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
