NUN-CHUCKS, KNIVES & SWORDS DISCOVERED IN URUNGA HOUSE SEARCH
Police have located weapons and illegal drugs during the search of a home on the state’s mid north coast.
Around 9am yesterday, police executed the search warrant at a home on Giinagay Way in Urunga.
Police allegedly located a .177 cal break action air rifle, compound bow, replica pistol, knuckle-dusters, nun-chucks, numerous knives and swords, and drugs believed to be MDMA and cannabis during the search.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and possessing an unauthorised firearm.
A 45-year-man was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, two counts of possessing prohibited weapons, supplying prohibited drug, possessing an unauthorised firearm, and deal with property proceeds of crime.
The teenager will appear at a children’s court on Monday 10 July, with the older man to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday 26 June.
