POLICE SEEK TWO TEENS OVER HILLVUE HOME INVASION

Two elderly people have been subjected to a frightening home invasion in the north west of NSW.

Around 8pm last night, an 83-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman were home on Warree Drive in Hillvue, south of Tamworth, when two teenagers entered the home through a locked glass sliding door.

Police say the teens took knives from the kitchen and threatened the elderly pair, demanding the woman’s purse.

The intruders then fled through the rear of the house.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police would now like to speak to two teenage males, who may be able to assist.

They are described as aged between 13-14 years old, and of dark complexion. One was wearing a red hoodie, and the other was wearing a khaki hoodie.
