SAGE HOPES DASHED IN DRAMATIC CRASH

Disappointment for Sage Murdoch in the Australian Formula Four series, with the Newcastle driver involved in a dramatic crash at Phillip Island.

Murdoch had worked his way into eighth in the early stages of race three when he was taken out by rival, Aaron Love.

The 15-year-old was shaken up, but thankfully walked away.

It ruined what had been Murdoch’s best round of the series.
