Tamworth Regional Council has decided NOT to spend another cent investigating PFAS contamination at the airport, UNTIL the federal government commits to reimbursing its costs.
To date, council has spent more than $145,000 looking into contamination at the site.
A public meeting for affected residents will be organised for later this year, with the EPA and federal government invited to attend.
