2 TEENAGERS CHARGED FOLLOWING CRIME SPREE IN TAMWORTH

Two 19-year-old men have been charged following yesterday’s early morning crime spree in Tamworth.

Police have released CCTV footage which shows three young men allegedly vandalising the Regional Playground on Kable Avenue – using bolt cutters to damage play equipment.

The trio then made off in a White Toyota Hilux ute.

“These young fellows have then continued up towards our lookout, Marsupial Park and caused further damage up there.”

A Spring Ridge teenager handed himself into police late last night, while another was arrested in Quirindi today.

Both have been charged with several offences and are due to front Tamworth Local Court next month.
