Irrigators in the Lower Namoi region are being urged to apply for funding, to help modernise their farms.
The Department of Primary Industries can help reduce costs by up to 80 per cent on water saving measures.
The funding is available for items such as upgraded pumps and equipment, deepening water storages or switching to overhead irrigation systems.
Applications are open until June 30.
