Local surf lifesavers will head to Caves Beach this weekend for the NSW IRB Premiership series opener.
Terrigal was the best performing local club last year and is hoping to do it again.
“I think we’re always looking to improve, hopefully we’ve got a team that can do that for us, we’ve got a few new faces and newcomers so we’re looking forward to seeing what they can do”
While excited for round one, it’s also a bittersweet moment.
“Our number one supporter John Meldrum passed away last year so this is a new season he’s always been around to support us”
