ONE MAN KILLED AND OTHERS INJURED IN TWO SEPARATE ACCIDENTS ON THE NEW ENGLAND HIGHWAY

A motorcyclist has been killed in an accident on the New England Highway this afternoon.

The incident occurred just south of the Kankool weigh station on the Liverpool Ranges after midday.

It’s believed the male rider lost control of the bike in the wet conditions.

Meanwhile, a second accident on the New England Highway has seen three people taken to hospital.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident north of Bendemeer at midday.

A 19-year-old female suffered chest injuries, while a man in his 50s received head and leg injuries.

A 65-year-old female was also taken to hospital.
