Additional information is sought from the public after a man was seriously assaulted on the Central Coast last week.
Police investigations began after a 42-year-old man was addmitted to Gosford Hospital last Thursday morning with serious head injuries.
Later that day, a 41-year-old man was arrested at a home in Mangrove Mountain.
He was charged with a number of offences including conceal serious offence and firearm offences.
Police are now seeking further information on those responsible for the assault.
The injured man remains in hospital in a critical condition.
