GAV’S WEATHER – TWO BIG AIR MASSES GETTING READY TO COLLIDE

Cyclone Debbie has run a ground but it is far from over.

The remnants of Debbie will move inland across Queensland.

In the south the strongest cold front of the year will sweep in and these two air masses will collide.

When they do we always see some extraordinary weather.

Big rain, heavy down pours and storms are likely over a widespread area of eastern NSW and Queensland.

The low from Debbie may then boomerang back out in to the Coral Sea off the Gold Coast and cause more wild weather over the weekend for North-East NSW and South-East Queensland.
