Nine of Tamworth’s best junior water polo players have just been selected in state development squads.
Jake Mitchell and Chelsea Lehman were picked in the Under 18s, and Giaan White, Tahlia Stuart and Lara Taggart were named in the 16s.
The Under 15s saw Lucy Hofman, Billie Mitchell, Mikayla Gross and Harriet Lyden earn spots.
The group will have training sessions in Sydney in the coming months, with hopes of being selected in New South Wales teams competing at the Sydney Youth Festival in July.
