CASINO BABYSITTER TO FACE COMMITTAL HEARING IN APRIL

A babysitter charged over a crash that killed a policeman’s four-year-old daughter will face a committal hearing in Casino Local Court in April.

Courteney Pearl Matthews was excused from appearing in Lismore Local Court today.

The 19-year-old is facing four charges including dangerous driving occasioning death.

Elle Underhill was killed when the car she was in crashed near Casino in December 2015.

Her younger sister was also seriously injured in the crash.

Their parents were present in court today.
