Mercedes Corby will oppose an AVO being taken out against her after an alleged dispute between Corby and former friend Trudy Todd.
The pair opened a tapas bar on the Gold Coast last year, which is believed to have gone out of business.
Ms Todd said outside court the dispute between her and Corby didn’t relate to the tapas bar.
Corby sought for the case to be adjourned during a brief appearance at Tweed Heads Local Court today.
Corby claimed she had only received written statements from the applicant after arriving at court, and disagreed with some of the contents.
The matter has been adjourned until March 13.
