STARLIGHT FOUNDATION MAKES OVER TEENAGE RETREAT

A deserving Newcastle teenager has a bedroom to brag about, thanks to a little Starlight magic and a LOT of elbow grease.

15-year-old Jemma Hancock – who has a rare form of scoliosis – today got a first look at her new room.

The makeover is thanks to the team at the Starlight Foundation – mum Joanne helping to orchestrate the big reveal.

“there’s a girl on YouTube she follows and she liked her room so she wanted to have the room like hers.”

“I can’t wait to get my sister over to see it and I can’t wait for all my friends to hang out with me in here and all that.”
