Police are appealing for information after a frightening break and enter in Newcastle this morning.
A 21-year-old woman was asleep at a home on Stevenson Place, when she was woken by a person standing on her bed just before 1:30am.
She screamed and the person fled.
The woman wasn’t injured, but her handbag was stolen.
