GOLD COAST MAN TO BE EXTRADITED OVER $1.5 MILLION FRAUD CHARGES

A Gold Coast man will be extradited to New South Wales for an outstanding warrant relating to fraud charges, police allege total $1.5 million.

Strike Force Apron commenced an investigation following reports a man was operating a scam.

Following inquiries, a 54-year-old man was arrested yesterday at Paradise Point on the Gold Coast.

Sydney detectives will travel to Queensland and apply for his extradition on Monday.
