FEMALE GOLD COAST ESCAPEES ON THE RUN

Two female prisoners are on the run after escaping from a low custody facility in the Gold Coast hinterland.

Charlotte Bowman, 19, and Jahnessa Jerome, 24, went missing from the Numinbah Correction Centre just before midnight last night.

Bowman is serving one year for common assault while Jerome is serving one year and three months for assaulting police.

Bowman is described as having a fair complexion, blonde hair, and is 160cm tall.

She has the tattoo “CODIE” on her left wrist and “RJB” on her right wrist.

Jerome is described as having a dark complexion and dark hair with red colour through it.

She is 173cm tall with two heart tattoos on her left hand, the word “DAMIEN” tattooed on her left inner forearm. She also has a heart/scroll tattoo on her left elbow area.
